Are You Unclear About Why Is Tesamorelin Sold?

Tesamorelin is an analog of a human growth hormone-releasing factor or GRF. You must be aware that synthetic peptides are beneficial for the treatment of various medical conditions. Tesamorelin for Sale

Patients with HIV-induced lipodystrophy start to have a growth hormone deficiency. So, they need to increase the level of growth hormone in the body to boost fat breakdown and reduce cholesterol levels. Tesamorelin can stimulate the growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) receptors to secrete more growth hormones. But it would never fall under the category of weight-loss medication. It does not help much to treat general obesity.

When Can You Use Tesamorelin?

Doctors would prescribe tesamorelin medication if you have excess body fat caused by HIV treatment, especially from the abdominal region. There are other medical conditions where you may need to take up this medication. Your doctor would be more aware of the details.

A vial of Tesamorelin 10mg has powdered medicine, which you need to mix with a diluent before injecting. If you are using the medication at home, you should know about the proper administration and storage of the medicine.

How to Administer Tesamorelin?

You must strictly follow the instructions of your doctor or what is on the label. You are going to use a subcutaneous injection. Check the right proportion of mixing the medicine with the diluent and prepare it in a syringe when you are ready to inject. You cannot store this mixture for later use.

You have to change the injection site with every administration and report to the doctor if there is any discomfort. You must take regular blood tests to check whether the medication is effective or not.

Dosage

Generally, you would take the medication once a day, but it may vary upon the doctor’s prescription. 2mg is the recommended dose that most people follow.
